1. Who we are

KIA Jobs (“the Service”) is operated by the Kosher Institute of America (“KIA”, “we”). By using the Service you agree to these terms, the posting guidelines and the privacy policy.

2. What the Service is

The Service is a venue where employers publish job listings and job seekers view them and apply. KIA is not a party to any employment relationship, does not vet applicants, and does not guarantee that any listing results in a hire or that any applicant is suitable. A “KIA Verified” mark reflects only that KIA has confirmed the employer’s identity or has a working relationship with it.

3. Employer responsibilities

  • You may post only genuine, currently open positions for which you have authority to recruit.
  • You are solely responsible for the content and legality of your listing, including compliance with equal-employment, pay-transparency and other laws that apply to you.
  • You will use applicant information only to evaluate the applicant for the position, and will keep it confidential.
  • You grant KIA a license to display, distribute and index your listing, including to search engines and email subscribers, for as long as it is live and for a reasonable period after.

4. Job seeker responsibilities

  • Information you submit in an application must be accurate and your own.
  • You will not scrape, harvest or contact employers for purposes other than applying to their listings.

5. Moderation and removal

KIA may hide, edit or remove any listing, application or account at any time, with or without notice, including by automated means, and may suspend accounts that violate these terms or the guidelines.

6. Featured listings and payments

Featured placement is a paid, one-time service for a fixed term, processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay. If KIA removes a Featured listing for a violation, the fee is refunded; otherwise Featured is non-refundable once live. Sales tax, where applicable, is added at checkout.

7. Email

Transactional email (sign-in links, application receipts, listing notices) is sent as part of the Service. Alert digests are sent only to subscribers who confirmed their address and can be stopped with one click.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KIA disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any amount exceeding the fees you paid to KIA in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. We may update these terms; material changes are announced on the Service. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new terms.
