Accessibility

The Kosher Institute of America wants every Mashgiach and every employer to be able to use this board, whatever device or assistive technology they use. In practice that means:

• All text meets AA contrast on the paper background; gold is used for rules and badges, never for small text on light backgrounds.
• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring and a skip-to-content link.
• Forms have labels, error messages that name the field, and no time limits.
• Touch targets are at least 24 by 24 pixels, and pages never scroll sideways on a phone.
• Sign-in uses an emailed link or code; there are no passwords or puzzle-style challenges.
• Job pages print cleanly and can be shared by WhatsApp or email.

Known limitations

Employers write their own job descriptions. We enforce headings and lists but cannot guarantee the reading level or structure of third-party text. Resumes uploaded by applicants are shown to employers as the original files.
